Magnolia Fare Update

The Magnolia Fare program is now available!

Music

We can’t wait to enjoy the array of tunes that will be performed by our talented students during Magnolia Fare. The full music schedule is now available in the Magnolia Fare Program. Prior to the music program, the event will officially open at 4pm with a welcome to country and a smoking ceremony. We hope you can join us for this!

Art & Design

The colourful works of our Year 12 Art and Design students will once again be exhibited in the light-filled foyer of the Barossa Arts and Convention Centre. The exhibition opens on Tuesday November 1 at 8.40am during chapel – all welcome! Otherwise enjoy the art and design during Magnolia Fare and vote for your favourite work. The People’s Choice Awards will be announced at 7.30pm on the Magnolia Fare main stage.

Passport Activities

Create your own masterpiece with a range of fun-filled activities to suit young and old. From a favourite tradition of decorating honey biscuits, to kite-making and lantern decorating, there is plenty of fun to be had! Or enjoy a laugh and dress up at the photobooth, or bob for apples on the lawns of the Wine Education Centre.

Wine Auction

Stock your cellar for the festive season! Once again we have over 50 lots of remarkable wines donated by wonderful supporting wineries across the region. The Wine Auction starts at 7pm within the Mengler View Winery with Graham Wright from Oddbins as our fabulous Auctioneer. From 6pm there will also be opportunity to taste the new vintage of Mengler View wines, as well as a number of carefully selected special wines from across the region.

Silent Auction

Some amazing lots have been generously donated once again to this year’s Magnolia Fare. From a beautiful country retreat get away, to beautiful jewellery, pamper packs and packs to impress your barbecue guests, make sure you pop into the Wine Education Centre (Lab) for a look at the 30+ items up for bidding!

Market Stalls

Over 20 market stalls to explore from delicious sweet treats to hand crafted Christmas calendars, jewellery and children’s clothing – wander through the centre courtyard and make sure you drop into the Eckermann Theatre to discover the full range of market goodies available.

Amusements

Enjoy the fun-filled fair atmosphere on the Western oval with a number of rides, side shows and a bouncy castle.

Yalumba Nursery Fireworks

Make sure you stay until 9pm as the sky lights up with fireworks generously sponsored by Yalumba Nursery.

Plenty of parking for the event is available on the Eastern Oval (behind the tennis courts).
