It is with great excitement that we share with our community the outstanding results that have been achieved by the Year 12 students of 2016.
Together with the staff of Faith College; we celebrate, acknowledge and recognise the achievements of all students. I take this opportunity to thank the College staff and the families of Year 12 students for their support, encouragement and guidance throughout the year – which has no doubt been an important factor in the results that have been achieved.
We have every confidence that the graduating class of 2016 are well prepared for the challenges and rewards that the future holds and all students can feel very proud of their achievements.
Particular congratulations go to our 2016 Dux, Ryan Falkenberg who achieved an ATAR of 98.25.
99.6% of all subject scores were either A, B or C, with a 35.3% achievement of A grades and 87.9% achievement of A and B grades. It is wonderful to see that 19.8% of our students have achieved an ATAR score of 90 and above. Equally pleasing was the fact that 45.8% of our students achieved ATAR scores of 80 and above.
Overall, our students achieved 8 merits across a number of subjects, including Research Project B, Mathematical Applications, Visual Arts – Art, Physical Education and Visual Arts – Design.
In addition, 13 students studied Certificate III or IV in Vocational Education & Training (VET) as part of their senior secondary studies, and have had their VET results recognised as Stage 2 ATAR accredited subjects.
To develop creative, responsible, inspired individuals prepared for the challenges and rewards of their world.
