On Wednesday 8th June Nick Parnell, vibes virtuoso, presented a one hour workshop to some enthusiastic percussionists.

Year 12 Percussion student, Harrison, had this to say about the experience:

“It was great to experience a more social side of Parnell’s performance, learning about the techniques he uses and being able to ask questions as he explained. It was also good to learn new techniques of holding mallets.”

That evening Nick presented a concert in the Brenton Langbein Theatre. Prior to the concert a small percussion group from Faith performed in the foyer.

Well done to Harrison Starick, Hannah Aylett, Jackson Nokes, Marcus Howard, Jackson Triplett and Harvey Nobes for putting on a great performance.

Thanks, also, to Mr Chris Yeend, percussion teacher, for organising the workshop and student performance.
