TAFESA Barossa Valley Campus held their Training Restaurant recently. TAFESA Hospitality and Commercial Cookery students demonstrated their learned skills and knowledge in a simulated setting with the reality of appreciative customers. Opening night dinner was fully booked and a huge success with amazing food and excellent service. Year 12 Faith student Kendall Allington showed her Front of House skills, efficiently waiting on diners for her final task to complete Certificate III in Hospitality. Kendall will be granted 50 SACE Stage 2 credits and will be able to use her fully completed Certificate III qualification in her ATAR calculation – a good reward for 18 months of attending VET one day per week and keeping up with her Faith subjects.
