Tanunda Lutheran School students explore Maker Space October 2017
Last term the Maker Space team hosted the Year 4 and 5 students from Tanunda Lutheran School and worked in pairs to engineer an egg protection devise. Groups were set a budget and used ‘maker space’ dollars to purchase resources including cotton wool, string, straws and paper bags to build their inventions. Their final designs were put to the test as they dropped them from a balcony with mixed success and messy outcomes. An exciting afternoon was had by all combining science, technology, engineering and maths into laughs, teamwork and creativity.
