Faith Lutheran College’s Strategic Plan respects the past, embraces the present and drives innovation for the future. Developed by the Senior Leadership Team and the Board in 2018 when our College became an ELC – Year 12 facility, the prime focus for the Strategic Plan was on our students, past, present and future.
In 1845, the Barossa’s first Lutheran school opened in Tanunda.
This was the first step in our unending pursuit of an education that brings something extra to the ordinary.
140 years later courage and faith guided the opening of our first Lutheran Secondary School.
Today we are one, we share one vision and one future.
Across two campuses, the Junior School (ELC – Year 6) and Middle and Senior School (Year 7 – Year 12), here at Faith Lutheran College we view education as a wonderful journey deserving of a unique approach where students come first.
Faith is building spaces and delivering curriculum to our students in a way that is state of the art. As a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate fulfils our desire to grow independent and self-fulfilled thinkers. Sparking interest and dreams in our students to think and care beyond the beautiful landscape within which we live and learn.
As one we have created a new strong Vision from which all of our future decisions will be based. It’s a vision for what we want for our community, who we want to be and how we want to grow.
To inspire and equip every student
To discover, develop and use their gifts,
Embrace life’s challenges
And follow Christ.
We invite you to read our plan for the future.
