Family budgets can be complex, and we understand it’s important for families to know upfront how much to set aside for school fees. That’s why we’ve introduced a composite fee – this covers year level camps and retreats, faculty excursions, music tours, eisteddfod, biennial musical and performing arts events, study skill workshops, subject competitions, Acer testing, aquatics carnivals and swim teams, pedal prix, athletics, touch football events, knock-out sports, open sport events, triathlon and cross country events, and the career expo. That’s a long list of activities and opportunities!
We can’t cover everything in the composite fee, individual items such as uniform, stationery, photocopier charges, overseas trips, interstate ski trips, private instrumental tuition, tech study construction projects, textile projects, VET course costs, IT devices and fundraising may all be additional expenses for your family to consider.
Each year the Faith College Board determine the fees and charges for the College. The goal of the Board is to keep fees and charges as low as possible while also ensuring the College can provide adequate resources to ensure the provision of high quality education.
Families seeking an Independent School education for their children will possibly compare the fee structures of different education institutions. Faith College encourages families to discuss fee related matters with our staff. A comparison of fees alone does not provide information about such things as class sizes, extra-curricular offerings and possible ‘additional fees and charges’ that are not always apparent. Faith College offers a simple and transparent fee summary which enables families to budget without surprises.
When are fees charged?
Fees are charged each term. A discount applies for those who pay fees in full. Alternatively, fees may be paid in installments (for example: fortnightly, monthly, per term).
Fee Discounts, Bursaries and School Card
Each year Faith College aims to provide fee discount to families who demonstrate a need for assistance. Families are welcome to speak to our staff concerning fee concession..
Bursaries are available for existing families of the College who may be experiencing difficult times. Bursaries are normally the waiving or reduction of fees for a period of time to allow the family to deal with a crisis (for example: illness, death). Should your circumstances change, we encourage you to keep in close communication with us.
Speak to our staff about the opportunity to contribute to your child’s education prior to commencement. Our payment in advance options enable families to invest in their child’s education in advance, allowing fee payments to be spread over a longer period of time.
