Homestay in the Barossa
Welcome to Faith Lutheran College Homestay Program.
The Homestay Program is designed to assist students, who may live such a distance from the College that makes the daily commute unmanageable, to still received a Faith education.
Homestay students will be accommodated with Host families, sourced by the College, as required by the Homestay parents and caregivers. The program is facilitated by the Homestay Coordinator.
The program is fundamentally based on trust, communication and a good relationship between the Homestay student and family, and the Host family.
Faith has a process in place to orchestrate this relationship which includes meetings between the two parties, Working with Children Checks and facilitating the groundwork for a positive experience for all.
To note, the Formal Agreement is between the Homestay student and family and the Host family. Faith is a sub signatory on this agreement and requires to keep a copy of this Agreement on file.
If you are interested in a homestay arrangement for your child, please make contact with the College as early as possible in order to allow time to facilitate a great outcome for all.
