We invite you to join us – experience our dynamic learning spaces, be welcomed like family, and explore our approach to learning.
Faith Lutheran College has become the first regional school in South Australia to receive global recognition by being authorised to deliver the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IB MYP). Joining over 5,000 schools worldwide, the International Baccalaureate Programme focuses on enabling students to direct their learning pathway, developing the skills and confidence students need to thrive and make a difference in the world. Having recently completed a three-year candidacy in the Middle School to achieve authorisation, Faith Lutheran College delivers the Australian Curriculum within the inquiry framework of the International Baccalaureate Programme.
Through a global lens, students explore what it means to be a learner in today’s rapidly changing world. Teachers work alongside students to guide and provide engaging learning experiences that intentionally develops attributes such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, balance and reflection. The aim is for Faith graduates to step out into the world, with a global perspective that encourages students to push the boundaries of their comfort zone, use their talents and skills, and recognise their role as valuable and active global citizens.
Being authorised as an IB World School provides the framework for Faith to embrace innovation from the ground up, developing lifelong learners who thrive and make a difference in our world. From an early age, Faith Lutheran College provides an educational journey that enables students to explore different opportunities, discover new passions, develop a wide range of skills, and in doing so, become truly world-ready.
