Faith students in the ’80s may recall planting some of the first trees to define gardens. The same trees that now shade our current students.
In the ’90s students congregated with excitement as the first wall of the Barossa Arts Centre was carefully put in place. A centre stage for arts in the region.
During the 2000s the Wine Education Centre expanded the College’s ability to craft local wines. The Mengler View Wines label grew as enrolments increased.
A generous bequest enabled the Music Centre to be transformed in the 2010s to an uplifting learning space, also housing a small gym. Additional classrooms were added to support the integral language program.
Over the last decade, more significant building programs have changed the learning spaces of the College to meet the growing needs of students.
– The redevelopment of the West Wing, with classrooms for Maker Space, English, HASS and more
– The redevelopment of the STEM Centre, focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths
– The expansion and development of the East Wing, to house Year 7 classes and more
Planning is now underway for the next stages of development and the impact of our next building project will be significant, for students today, and students to come. More information will be shared in the coming months – watch this space!
