The elective program, allowing students to select their activities for 4 sessions, is popular with both students and staff.
This term our focus was on preparing an activity to share with the rest of the school at the Showcase. The choices offered included a wide range of engaging activities – dance, puppetry, singing, woodwork, skipping, tomboy stitch, cooking, tie dye, sport, German activities, drawing, making mandalas, creative writing with technology and Stop Motion Animation.
Each student from Foundation to Year 6 was able to participate, thanks to the talented leaders and helpers– staff and volunteers. We are very grateful to all the parents and volunteers from the 50 Steps group who shared their time and talents with us. It was wonderful to have so many willing people involved.
The Showcase on the last day of term was a celebration of the talent and efforts of each student and was a wonderful way to end the term.
