Gratitude Week – Walk My Way Fundraising Results
Congratulations to the staff, students and the broader Faith community, for their generous donations towards Walk My Way. We are thrilled to announce that last Friday we managed to raise $4,525 which translates to 174 refugee children who can attend school for a year.
Students braved the chilly morning with smiles as they walked laps of the College ovals in their cosy PJ’s in exchange for a gold coin donation.
Staff acknowledged students by announcing the total raised over the College’s PA system at the end of the school day last Friday.
Mr Josh Grieger who helped facilitate the Student Council beamed, ‘We can certainly celebrate the amazing fundraising efforts of not only our students today, but our extended community of generous family, friends, businesses and Faith alumni who have donated to the event over the past week. It’s been wonderful to see our student body embrace the Walk My Way initiative following on from our gratitude chapel on Wednesday.’
A big shout out to the Student Council who organised the event as part of Gratitude Week.
