Faith Lutheran College Junior School has recently been notified that we have been awarded a $1960.00 grant from the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resources Management (NRM) Board.  This grant will be used to establish a garden containing bush tucker and other indigenous plants.

SOLE Programme Co-ordinator Annabel Biagi said the school community is thrilled with the support, “not only is this perfectly befitting of our SOLE programme and values, the benefits for our school are threefold; the broad learning outcomes for our children, community education and reciprocity, and local environmental biodiversity and custodianship,” she said.  “We especially look forward to making use of the bush tucker plants in our Stephanie Alexander cooking units of work.”
