In Senior School we provide a dynamic ‘real life’ learning community to support each student’s quest for personal excellence. Offering a comprehensive curriculum from Year 7 to Year 12.

Senior School Information

When students reach Senior School at Faith, we have a dedicated team of staff to support students as they work towards their SACE (South Australian Certificate of Education) and life beyond school.

Our aim is to make this transition as smooth, familiar and comfortable as possible. Advice and information is readily available from our Pathways Coordinator (Ms Cirillo), SACE Coordinator (Mr Liebelt), subject teachers and Village Care Group teachers to help students in their decision making process. Of course, family is very important to include in these conversations.

Below are some quick reference videos to help students and their families in their Senior School journey.

Ways to attain SACE

In Senior School students have the opportunity to undertake Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses and School Based Apprentices and Traineeships (SBAT) which will contribute to the student’s SACE qualification. Information about what certificates are available at Faith, please refer to the Curriculum Handbook.

To learn more about how you can undertake the above whilst at Faith, please speak with the VET Coordinator (Mr Knott).

The following links will take you to external websites to give you an overview of the qualifications.

Our Approach

At Faith Lutheran College graduates step out into the world, with a global perspective that encourages students to push the boundaries of their comfort zone, use their talents and skills, and recognise their role as valuable and active global citizens. We call this world ready.

Diverse Subject Offerings & Pathway Support

We offer over 40 subjects in our Senior School with small class sizes. We provide extensive, personalised support to students and families seeking subject counselling and career pathways advice.

Social Learning

At Faith, social learning is learning in a student-centered, social context with opportunities to discuss, explore, debate and question together to construct meaning and knowledge.

Start with the end in mind!

We guide students' passion for learning in the classroom and beyond. Our individual approach encourages students to explore, to be curious, and to be involved and meaningfully connected to learning.

At Faith, creativity is a higher order thinking skill. Promoting and demonstrating creativity in students and teachers involves characteristics such as, curiosity, confidence, self-motivation and flexibility.
