Senior School Information

When students reach Senior School at Faith, there are a few more elements that they need to consider as they work towards their SACE and life beyond school.

Here at Faith, our staff aim to make this transition as smooth, familiar and comfortable as possible. Faith staff available as an important source of advice and information include the Pathways Coordinator (Ms Cirillo), the SACE Coordinator (Mr Liebelt), subject teachers and Village Care Group teachers to help students in their decision making process. Of course, family is very important to include in these conversations.

Below are some quick reference videos to help students and their families in their Senior School journey.

Ways in which to attain SACE

In Senior School students have the opportunity to undertake Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses and School Based Apprentices and Traineeships (SBAT) which will contribute to the students SACE qualification. Information about what certificates are available at Faith, please refer to the Curriculum Handbook.

To learn more about how you can undertake the above whilst at Faith, please speak with the VET Coordinator (Mrs Sanders).

The following links will take you to external websites to give you an overview of the qualifications.

Social Learning

At Faith, social learning is learning in a student-centered, social context with opportunities to discuss, explore, debate and question together to construct meaning and knowledge.

We guide students' passion for learning in the classroom and beyond. Our individual approach encourages students to explore, to be curious, and to be involved and meaningfully connected to learning.

At Faith, creativity is a higher order thinking skill. Promoting and demonstrating creativity in students and teachers involves characteristics such as, curiosity, confidence, self-motivation and flexibility.
