The 2024 Year 12 cohort at Faith Lutheran College has once again demonstrated the College’s commitment to academic excellence, continuing a proud tradition of outstanding results. While Faith acknowledges exceptional ATAR scores and academic milestones, each student’s unique growth and holistic success achieved throughout their learning journey is also celebrated.

2024 Year 12 Results
Faith Lutheran College congratulates all students on their achievements and commends the dedication and commitment evident in reaching such high academic standards. The results reflect the students’ hard work as well as the unwavering support of teachers and families, whose contributions have been integral to their success. The College provides Year 12 students the opportunity to undertake 5 SACE subjects, encouraging a broad range of learning experiences to develop knowledge and skills across various fields. This approach ensures that students are well-prepared for the future, ready to take on the world with confidence and capability.
Key Highlights of the 2024 Year 12 Results:
- 100% of eligible students achieved their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE)
- 4 students achieved an ATAR over 95 (4.9%*)
- 12 students achieved an ATAR 90 and above (14.6%*)
- 25 students achieved an ATAR 80 and above (30.4%*)
- 99.8% of all subject scores were either in the A, B or C bands
- 2 students were awarded merits

*82 students were eligible for an ATAR and percentage has been calculated by this number

A special congratulations goes to the 2024 Dux, Sophie, who achieved an ATAR of 99.0, an outstanding accomplishment that reflects Sophie’s dedication and hard work.

Vocational Education and Training (VET) Achievements
Faith Lutheran College also acknowledges the 15 students who completed Certificate III qualifications as part of their senior secondary studies. These VET qualifications have been accredited as Stage 2 ATAR subjects and have equipped students with practical skills and knowledge for a variety of careers.

In addition, Olivia, Cooper, Zac, and Thomas represented Faith Lutheran College at the Barossa Valley VET Student of the Year Awards, where Cooper and Tom received High Level Achievement awards, Olivia earned Outstanding Achievement, and Zac won VET Student of the Year, completing 51% of his Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication) apprenticeship in less than a year.
Beyond the Classroom: Contributing to the Community
Faith 2024 graduates have made significant contributions beyond the classroom, demonstrating leadership, service, and a strong commitment to the wider community.
Some of their achievements include:
- 74 contributions to represent Faith Lutheran College in the knockout sport program
- 18 Music Awards acknowledging talent and involvement in Faith’s thriving music community
- 5 State Sporting Representatives across a range of sports
- 52 Faith Lutheran College Awards acknowledging commitment to a range of learning areas
- 6 Community Service initiatives within the wider Barossa Community
- 14 Service projects within the College, enhancing the experience of students within the school day
In addition, six students attended the SIWAH (Serving Indonesia with a Heart) Indonesian Partnership Tour, strengthening international connections and global learning.
